This is not a comprehensive list of all the verses in the Bible that talk about God’s consistency and the joy of work but a list of some of my favorites….

1 Corinthians 15:58 – “Therefore my beloved brothers be steadfast immovable always abounding in the work of the Lord.”

Galatians 6:9 – “And let us not grow weary of doing good for in due season we will reap if we do not give up”.

Daniel 6:10 – “When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber opened toward Jerusalem, he got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks to the Lord as he had done previously.” 

Hebrews 13:8 – “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

James 1:4 – “And let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing.”

Colossians 3:23 and 24 – “Whatever you do work heartily as for the Lord and not for men knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward you are now serving the Lord Christ.”

Psalm 90:17 – “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and establish the work of our hands.” 

Proverbs 16:3 – “Commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be established.”

Proverbs 14:23 – “In labor there is profit but mere talk leads only to poverty.”

2 Timothy 2:6 – “It is the hardworking farmer who ought to have the first share of the crop.”

Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.”

Ecclesiastes 3:22 – “There is nothing better than that all should enjoy their work.”

Ephesians 4:28 – “Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer but must work doing something useful with their own hands that they may have something to share with those in need.”
